Research & customer focus is key to our success, past, present and future. We’re growing the team and are now looking for an experienced Market Researcher to join us.

This role will be focused on the Investments part of our business in the UK. For now that comprises of Managed Investments and Financial Planning but may also include future investment products as well. _. _

**Role**
- Deliver actionable consumer insight based on primary research in order to support and drive effective customer led decision making and resolve the core business questions
- Lead, advise and deliver on the appropriate strategic research projects (and with partner agencies)
- Work with internal squads to determine best possible project support and identify research needs
- Design and execute ad hoc qualitative and quantitative research projects in addition to ongoing tracker studies
- Communicate and integrate consumer insights to inform our strategy, marketing campaigns and product and design
- Manage and optimize relationships with our research agencies
- Champion a customer-centric approach within the business
- Build and nurture relationships across the business (Including Design, Product, Marketing and CX) to understand our key issues and pro-actively develop market
- and consumer insight

**Responsibilities**
- Build thorough market and consumer insight through a series of qualitative and quantitative research initiatives, published research and internal data sources
- Proactively initiate and execute new initiatives where relevant - from tackling specific business queries to exploring trends for forecasting purposes - may include agency hire, recruitment, proposal, questionnaire development (overseeing) execution (by agency / internal) and interpretation of the results.
- Note some research will be done in house and some via third party agency suppliers
- The role should actively manage the process from start to finish using best practice throughout
- Deepening relationships with customer focused counterparts in other parts of CX including User Research VOC and Analytics
- A key part of the role will be to ensure the consumer and market insights are communicated to all the relevant teams in a clear and engaging fashion
- Part of the communication process should also stimulate future research projects - enabling internal stakeholders to understand how research can influence and enhance the customer experience and drive business performance
- Be an advocate for the customer and foster a shared understanding of a customer first approach in the organisation

**Requirements**:

- Proficient in all parts of the research lifecycle, to include: briefing, recruitment specifications, questionnaire/discussion guide design, coordination of analysis, synthesis of findings, communication of findings
- Experience in a digitally-led and consumer-facing business is a plus
- Experience in Financial Services, Investments or Banking is not required, but you will need to immerse yourself in this world with passion and curiosity.
