Kitchen Porter

**Location**: The Bay Filey

**Hours**: Upto 20 hours per week - variable shift pattern - seasonal contract

**Renumeration**: £10.42 per hour

**What we need in a nutshell**

We need someone who can be an asset to the team in the kitchen, keeping things clean and organised so that our chefs can work their magic for hungry guests.

**Some of the background**

We’re not your average holiday company. Our guests come to our UK resorts to experience a world away from their day-to-day. When they are with us, they play crazy games, enjoy show-stopping entertainment and live in the moment. Our job is to surprise and delight them at every turn.

We need you to be the person who delivers delight in the kitchen; to be a kitchen porter who is eager to help, hardworking and a real team player.

**The nitty gritty of what you’ll be doing**

As part of our slightly bonkers team of holiday heroes, you will be a key member of the kitchen team, helping to make sure our guests are well-fed and happy. Your contribution will include:

- Washing dishes until they sparkle
- Assisting in basic food preparation
- Maintaining kitchen areas and sweeping and mopping the floor
- Keeping storerooms tidy and organised
- Carrying out daily cleaning rotas
- Leaving the kitchen ship-shape for the next shift.

One more thing holidays happen at holiday times and eating and drinking goes on in into the night, so you’ll need to work your magic on bank holidays, evenings and weekends too.

**Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need**

We’ll train you up, but can you accurately follow instructions? Do you possess a high standard of personal hygiene and cleanliness? Are you motivated and able to work under pressure? If the answer to all these questions is yes, then we need to talk.
