**Compassionate Carer/companion**

We are looking for an enthusiastic compassionate companion to oversee the day-to-day operation of the home and who will look to enhance the life of 2 active elderly employers, through good conversation, shopping, running errands and assistance around the home.

The vacancy is based in north Bedfordshire and hours may be part-time or full-time.

Flexibility is a must as the demands from the client may change day to day.

Holidays and days off could be weekends or in the week depending on the household.

**Tasks include.**
- Enjoys keeping 2 active elderly people active.
- Experience in caring.
- Housekeeping duties to include tidying and cleaning all the bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas.
- Collecting laundry, washing, and ironing. Delivery and collection of dry cleaning
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
- Carries out weekly grocery shopping and other shopping requirements as necessary.
- Participate in Arts and Craft.
- Enjoys gardening.
- Accommodation can be discussed.
- Clean Driving licence is essential with own your car.
- DBS checked.
- Carries out any other task the employer may reasonably ask.
- Part time or full-time hours considered.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance

**Salary**: £11.32-£12.01 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 1 per week
