**Location**:
Derby, with travel to sites

**Salary / Benefits**:
£24,000 - £34,000 per annum, dependant on experience plus vehicle and package

**Company Information**:
My Client, a leading national multi-disciplinary surveying firm based out of Derby is currently searching for a Utility Surveyor to join its fast growing surveying team.

**Expereince**
- A minimum of 2/3 years utility surveying experience
- Experienced in use of Electromagnetic location and ground penetrating radar.
- A good understanding of common industry practices and standards in regards to utility detection, such as PAS 128 and TSA
- Good working knowledge of surveying equipment, such as GPR, CAT and Genny utility detection equipment
- Able to work collaboratively in a team and deal with clients on site.
- Clean & Full driving License
- Right to Work in UK with good comprehension of the English language

**Desirables**
- CSCS Card
- QCF Level 3 or Level 5 for utility mapping

**Duties**
- Carry out site surveys as required by the work instruction
- Undertake investigative utility surveys and conduct paperwork in accordance with company procedures
- Liaising with other site surveyors, contractors, suppliers, clients
- Create Utility Survey Reports
- Carry out appropriate quality control checks and issue data to CAD
- Check all survey drawings before they are issued to our customer
- Mentor and train less experienced surveyors, as required
- Provide technical support to Project Managers and internal staff members
