Assembly Operator

Due to further expanison of the business, we have new vacancies for Assembly Operators at our site in Auchtermuchty, Fife.

Our workshop production line sends out conveyor systems, box tippers, hoppers, agircultural washers, destoners and driers. We also produce skid units comprising of various machinery, vessels, components and pipework. Our product range is exapanding and this role will have a varied workload.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assemble products/machinery according to specifications and quality standards
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks
- Follow assembly instructions and drawings
- Inspect finished products for defects or issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals, working alongside welder/fabricators.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in assembly or a related field is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of assembly processes
- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Please note that this is a workshop-based position, so the ability to work in a warehouse environment is required. There may also be a requirement on occassion to work on-site assisting with the installation, assembly or repair of systems so you should be comfortable with this - transport would be provided.

Working Hours - Mon-Fri: 0830-1630.

Overtime is available for this role and is paid at either 1.5 x rate or 2 x rate. Immediate start is also available.
