Shire Healthcare are currently sourcing a Speech and Language Therapist for one of our clients based in Somerset. The successful Speech and Language Therapist will support young adults with learning disabilities within a specialist college and training facility that provides young adults with life and hospitality skills.

This is a full-time, permanent position and term-time only.

The role:

- Working within a multidisciplinary team
- Completing comprehensive assessments to establish speech, language and communication needs and recommending suitable interventions
- Delivering therapy interventions to individuals and groups
- Developing, implementing and reviewing speech, language and communication programmes
- Managing and prioritising a caseload of young people with complex needs

The ideal Speech and Language Therapist:

- Holds a Degree/Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registered
- Post-graduate experience of supporting young people with speech, language and communication needs
