**About the role**:
This Customer Service & Sales Advisor role in our Beaminster agency offers you the first step into an insurance sales career with excellent training. The Agency is under new management, so you’ll be a key part in this positive team, focused on the future. The aims of this agency are to expand local business and establish long-term, effective relationships with new and existing farming and non-farming customers.
We’re all about warm personalities, quality conversations and a customer-first attitude, so bring a willingness to learn and we’ll train you to handle enquiries, provide insurance quotes and renewals, and perform general sales tasks.
You’ll also have plenty of opportunity to continually develop your knowledge and skills to ensure you sell professionally and compliantly. To enable you to support all of our customers, we provide a supportive on-going learning environment. All training takes place in our on-site facilities at our office in Beaminster. Together with your new team, your training will include a mixture of classroom-based and hands-on learning.
**About you**:
Positive, friendly and customer focused, you bring an approachable style to building relationships with customers and colleagues alike. You don't need to have worked in an insurance or financial services business before, you just need to be committed to learning and development and ready to thrive in a small and busy team environment. To join our team, you’ll ideally:
- Feel comfortable working within a regulated environment.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Good computer skills
- Great telephone manner
- Experience or an interest in Insurance
- This role falls under Insurance Distribution Directive requirements, and as a result, role holders will be required to demonstrate ongoing Continuous Professional Development in role, along with undergoing regular re-screening to show that they are of “Good Repute”.
