We are looking to expand our business by adding a skilled, detail-oriented Maintenance Supervisor to our team. Our Maintenance Supervisor will play a crucial role in supporting the effective and efficient operation of our maintenance department. This role involves coordinating maintenance activities, managing resources, and optimizing workflow to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

**What you’ll be doing as our Maintenance Supervisor**:

- Collaborate with maintenance engineers and maintenance planner & coordinate the efficient completion of maintenance schedules.
- Prioritise and allocate resources to meet maintenance demands, considering equipment criticality and production schedules.
- Generate, review, and distribute work orders for a multitude of maintenance tasks.
- Ensure accurate records of maintenance activity including Work Orders & Stores Inventory
- Support with procurement of necessary parts, tooling & equipment for planned & unplanned activities
- Provide leadership support to motivate & guide the team
- Develop & implement standardized procedures to enhance the effectiveness of the team
- Oversee both reactive & preventive tasks ensuring clear communication is provided to key stakeholders
- Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with relevant safety and regulatory standards.
- Liaise with various departments (e.g., operations, engineering) to coordinate maintenance activities with production schedules and project timelines.
- Communicate effectively with maintenance team members to relay instructions & updates relating to ongoing maintenance activity
- Be an integral part of the escalation process to resolve unplanned breakdowns rapidly & efficiently
- Support in the understanding & development of the teams skill & knowledge to ensure efficient task completion

**The Skills, Knowledge and Experience you will need as our Maintenance Supervisor**:

- Strong ability to quickly identify and resolve maintenance issues, as well as troubleshoot complex problems
- Able to lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, assigning tasks
- Strong understanding of differing equipment, machinery & systems, with multidisciplined electrical mechanical background
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Good working Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

**Need to have**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience working within a Maintenance/Engineering environment

**Nice to have**:

- 3+ Years Maintenance Supervisory experience
- Forklift Truck License
- IPAF License
- CMMS Training

**Salary**: £45,000

**Hours**: Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 2.30pm
