Architectural Assistant

**JOB Description**
We are seeking for a highly motivated creative wishing to join an exciting young team of designers. You will be working within a multi disciplinary team environment, merging architectural / interiors & 3D visualisation to form a coherent logical design process. Project types ranging from Hotels / Hospitality F&B / Offices / Retail / Furniture Design & Private. Project scales ranging from a single furniture item to 100,000+sqft office projects. Applicants should have experience in the commercial sector and will be expected to perform the tasks listed below.
- Analysis of Design Brief
- Development of Mood Boards
- Detailed design research
- Client meetings
- Site Surveys
- 2D or 3D CAD (i.e. 3d model, elevations / sections / plans)
- Interior space planning
- Interior scheme design through 3D visualisation (preferable but not essential)
- Design Presentation layouts
- Material Design Selection and specification
- Final specification drawings for procurement
- Working with client / contractors for site & design queries

**EXPERIENCE**
Minimum 2 years work experience
(One of the following) Architectural / Interiors / Product design degree.
Have a basic understanding of Building regulations
Experienced in 2D CAD
Experienced in 3D CAD (preferable but not essential)
Have experience in the following software packages: Photoshop / Indesign / illustrator / Rhino (essential)/ Vray / Autocad / 3dsmax / Word / Excel
