We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Regeneration Manger, interested?

whg has a varied asset portfolio that includes a large number of disused garage sites and pockets of need or opportunity within existing estates that provide regeneration or densification development opportunities. Our aim being to ensure that regenerationneeds are addressed and that we maximise unused assets to create more affordable homes with optimum social impact. In order to support the delivery of this emerging but ambitious programme, we are looking for a skilled and experienced Regeneration Managerto join the team. This role will be responsible for the effective management of schemes from inception to entering into a build contract.

**Main job responsibilities**:

- You will manage the delivery of three workstreams - 1) small sites, 2) estate-based needs and 3) any adhoc site assembly (with regeneration needs) from local authority partners.
- Ownership of the commercial aspects of the schemes from inception to completion.
- You will collate information that will support the identification and selection of developable sites (obtaining survey information, reports on title, constraints and other factors).
- You will lead customer engagement and consultation needs with support from our Customer Voice and Community Housing teams.
- You will be conversant with the requirements of Homes England’s Capital Funding Guide and ensure compliance, as appropriate, thereof.

**We're looking for someone who has**:

- Recent and relevant experience in similar regeneration and / or project management role(s).
- A good knowledge and understanding of Homes England’s Capital Funding Guide.
- Experience of using ProVal and Sequel.
- PRINCE 2 or equivalent qualification in project management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce and present reports.
- A good technical understanding of residential design.
- The aptitude to be flexible and responsive.
- Ability to coordinate numerous projects and to deliver to set deadlines.
