Housekeeper/cleaner

We are excited to be seeking a number of new motivated and experienced to join us to clean an exclusive school in Dorking, and boarding houses the surrounding villages.

**Due to the rural location you will need to have your own vehicle. Two of the roles are to work at the same location, so if you are a team of two and one drives, this may be a possibility.**

**We have various shift patterns available for multiple applicants, as follows**:

- 6am -11:30am (27 and a half hours per week) - two vacancies
- 6am -2:30pm (40 hours per week) - two vacancies
- 6am -12pm (30 hours per week) - three vacancies
- 6am -11am (25 hours per week) - one vacancy
- 6am -1pm (35 hours per week) - two vacancies
- 6am -1:30pm (35 hours per week inc. 30 min break) - one vacancy
- 9:30am-2:30pm (25 hours per week) - one vacancy

The roles starting at 6am will involve cleaning an area of the school from 6am-8am. You will then drive yourself to a boarding house where you will complete cleaning of the student boarding houses. The 9:30am-2:30pm vacancy will be cleaning a boarding house.

The housekeeping role will include the making of beds, laundry, cleaning students rooms and bathrooms as well as communal areas of the students houses.

The highest standards are required here, and you must be able to work alone or as part of a team.

The roles will include cleaning for 35 weeks term time, plus a further 4 weeks deeper cleaning in school holidays. Some of the vacancies also have a further 5 weeks cleaning during summer school, so working weeks will either be 39 or 44 weeks per year, plus 28 days paid holiday.

You will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check, which we will pay for as part of this role.
