**Media Planning Lead**

Procter & Gamble (P&G) is one of the world's largest advertisers, owning globally iconic brands such as Gillette, Pampers, Oral-B and Head and Shoulders.

We are working on an exciting and industry defining project to grow our UK Media Team by bringing in-house a significant proportion of our media planning and buying capability. Our**Media Planning Lead** role offers a unique opportunity tojoin this team and work on some of the biggest media budgets in the UK, building a legacy for our brands and organisation. Our ambition is to bring media even closer to our consumers to maximise return and allow us to innovate in real time.

**OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE**

As a Media Planning Lead you will be responsible for:

- Leading the Planning Team in the creation of strong and consistent media strategies across all media touch points (TV, digital etc.)
- Delivering & adapting these strategies according to business objectives, allocated budgets and while considering consumer insights and market trends.
- Owning and managing the relationships with high-level stakeholders across P&G Brand, Media and agency teams as well as media vendors to ensure alignment to and seamless implementation of media strategies across touchpoints. You will also work hand-in-handwith the P&G Digital Lead to ensure digital excellence.
- Manging multi-million £ budgets, planning within all internal guidelines and controls.
- Managing, coaching & developing the Planning Team including one direct report.
- Supporting innovation to remain ahead of the competition, connecting externally to stay in-touch with the latest trends.
- Working closely with multiple stakeholders (Media, Trial, Analytics & Insights) and partners to deliver a consumer-centric data strategy.

**WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU**
- Have proven experience and expertise in strategic media planning across all digital and AV touch points in a media agency or in-house environment managing large budgets.
- Hold excellent knowledge of the UK media landscape and put the consumer experience at the heart of activities and decisions.
- Are a courageous leader and collaborator who can envision and energise large cross-functional teams and drive effective media owner relationships?
- Have proven experience influencing senior stakeholders.
- Can demonstrate strong strategic and analytical thinking to assess and recommend opportunities.
- Have people management experience and a passion for developing others.
- Have mastery with media planning tools such as TGI and GWI as well as Microsoft Office package.
- Have experience with Consumer-Packaged Goods companies (although not essential).

**WHAT WE OFFER YOU**

**Head Office Location**: This role is based in our UK Head Office in Weybridge, Surrey which is an easy commute from London with regular trains from Waterloo and a free shuttle service from the station to the office. There is free on-site parkingwith access to dedicated electric vehicle charging points. There is also an on-site Costa Coffee, discounted restaurant for breakfast and lunch and a state-of-the-art gym facility.

**Flexibility**: We operate a flex at work approach, with flexibility built into the role. Our UK Media Team spend 3 days of their week collaborating together in our offices or at our external partners or customers. This is balanced with 2 oftheir days spent on focused work which most tend to do from home. Of course, we do a bit of both every day, but we encourage our teams to choose where they work based on the jobs to be done.
