**About Us**
We are an _‘Outstanding’ _(Ofsted 2023) secondary academy, established in 2018 to provide an excellent education for children in Wimbledon. With our new Sixth Form set to open this September, we will soon have a full cohort of students aged 11-18.

Two years after opening, we moved into our brand-new building which is modern, bright and equipped with state-of-the-art facilities in every area of the curriculum. We are oversubscribed and fortunate to have an amazing level of support from the community with waiting lists for entry into every year group of our academy.

Harris Academy Wimbledon promotes high levels of academic achievement across the curriculum, encourages participation in extra-curricular opportunities and empowers students to make decisions wisely. The curriculum is rich, diverse and personalised ensuring every student achieves his or her true potential. **Main Areas of Responsibility**
The purpose of your role will be:

- Administration of all admissions: Year 6 into Year 7, in year admissions and 6th form admissions;
- Co-ordinating the Admissions Policy and Academy Appeals;

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Being the main point of contact for Admissions, open evening, transition and other student inductions events, with parents, students, staff and Merton Admissions Team
- Administration of Year 6, Year 12 and in year admissions
- Organising open mornings/evenings and attend to give advice to parents on our admissions policy
- Being the key point of contact for the Academy's uniform supplies
- Ensuring that the transition and enrolment goes smoothly
- Coordinating any appeals
- Managing waiting lists and co-ordinate any in year admissions
- Managing for the "off roll" folder
- Supporting the Director of 6th Form with any administration

**Qualifications & Experience**
We would like to hear from you if you have:

- Good attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and organisation skills
- Good ICT skills including a working knowledge of MS packages
- Strong work ethic and capacity for hard work
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
- Excellent organisational and planning skills, including prioritising tasks
- Ability to think creatively to anticipate and solve problems
