Our Turning Point Scotland Services in Inverclyde are looking for people like you to help provide individualised support to adults with a wide range of needs, either on an individual 1:1 basis or alongside others and as part of a team.

Turning Point Scotland has provided services in Inverclyde since 2002 and has grown to work within the local area with multiple services ranging from Port Glasgow to Skelmorlie.

We currently have vacancies within our Social Opportunities service which provides support to adults who have learning and physical disabilities and those with Autism. Our support aids safe, confident community integration whilst promoting independence as well as assisting individuals to achieve their personal outcomes.

The Social Opportunities service supports individuals in many aspects of their daily living, primarily social activities. Supports are mainly community based including college/education and mínimal in-house support.

The support we provide is always person centred, we do this by involving people who know the person well, this includes family and friends, other health and Social Work professionals, Advocacy services and our own staff members.

Our staff enjoy training, support and development, pension and benefits packages. Their personal qualities really do make a difference to the lives of the people we support.

Turning Point Scotland Inverclyde services are operational throughout the full year with delivery of supports in this service provided between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday including public holidays.

As a Support Practitioner, you will work with individuals who have a wide range of support needs, providing them with practical and emotional support and encouraging them to achieve their own personal outcomes in all aspects of their daily lives e.g. keeping safe, meaningful activities, community involvement, physical health, relationships, emotional health and wellbeing.
