Supply a world-class service to BT’s customer base.Join a team of over 50 in BT’s parts & warranty function, helping improve team effectiveness and the customer experience. The office is based a couple minutes from Junction 30 off the M1, with free onsite parking. You’ll work on projects for clients like MoD, Specsavers, DWP & Morgan Sindall Group.This role will see you in charge of managing stock across a range of locations, and leading on the efficiency of BT’s workshop activities. You’ll look into managing budgets, auditing fix rates and identifying process improvements. You’ll partner with several operational teams to drive efficiency, making you a pro-active element in implementing positive changes.You’ll also serve as a senior point of escalation, both in your team and the wider business, meaning you’re an influential figure.You’ll have access to the Pluralsight portal and the BT Academy to help progress your development & career at BT. There will be training and qualifications on Dell, HPI, HPE, Lenovo products, along with familiarising you with Cisco, Fortinet and Meraki products.- Your core duties include:
- Providing team leader control and escalation point for team members
- Monitor & recommend training requirements and resolve local issues for the team
- Stock management within BT and 3rd party locations
- Audit fix rates and enable BT to meet SLAs
- Manage KPIs and encouraging efficient use of resources
- Driving Continuous Improvement
**EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
- You have worked on break/fix activities in a workshop/technical environment
- You have a logical approach to problem solving
- Customer facing interpersonal skills
- Can handle responsibility for decision making
- Competent using reporting tools and data to drive efficiency
- Good understanding of the Microsoft Office suite
