We are a well-established PMS training practice with a dedicated team consisting of 10 General Practitioners (GPs and 7 Practice Nurses. Our practice is committed to serving a diverse population of 15,500 patients

Are you a competent and compassionate individual with experience in NHS GP services or a similar role? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Part-Time Medical Receptionist.
**Position Overview**:As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient service and contributing to the smooth operation of our practice. You will be responsible for handling various administrative tasks, ensuring patients receive the care and support they need, and maintaining a friendly and welcoming environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Patient Interaction**: Utilize your experience in patient-facing roles to interact with patients professionally, displaying friendliness, patience, and understanding.
- **Telephone Communication**: Be confident and efficient in handling phone calls, addressing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and directing calls to the appropriate personnel.
- **IT Proficiency**: Demonstrate a good level of IT skills.
- **Administrative Tasks**: Follow established procedures and instructions for handling tasks accurately and methodically.
- **Organization and Communication**: Possess strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate patient appointments, relay messages to healthcare providers, and maintain an organized front desk area.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work collaboratively with all members of our healthcare team, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to work effectively with various individuals.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in a relevant patient-facing role, ideally within NHS GP services or a similar healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in using telephone systems and other office equipment.
- Good IT skills, including knowledge of basic office software.
- Friendly, welcoming, patient, and understanding demeanor.
- Ability to follow instructions and established procedures accurately.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
**Working Hours**:This is a part-time position with consistent hours, rota'd from Monday to Friday. While the hours will remain the same, the specific working pattern may vary.
