**Role Overview**:
As a General Primary School Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment for Year 2 students. You will work closely with the class teacher to ensure that each child receives the attention, guidance, and assistance they require to thrive academically and personally. Your flexibility, adaptability, and dedication to helping students succeed will be key to your success in this role.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the class teacher to implement engaging lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, addressing their individual learning needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, promoting students' social and emotional development.
- Assist in classroom management and behavior guidance to ensure a conducive learning environment.
- Contribute to the preparation of learning materials and resources.
- Support students during practical activities, ensuring their safety and participation.
- Communicate effectively with both students and fellow staff members.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant qualifications and experience in working within education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with young learners
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of the children
