Our client a highly successful International business are currently recruiting for a Tax & Management Accountant in Redhill Surrey, Hybrid working available.

**Description**

Tax Accounting
- Ensure VAT correctly posted and is correctly reported and re-claimed in line with HMRC guidelines.
- Responsible for preparation and submission of VAT returns and other reporting for UK and Ireland.
- Postponed VAT Accounting (PVA) statement and Import Duty reconciliations
- Prepare annual PSA returns and assist with annual P11D process
- Review and liaise with auditors in production of Corporation Tax calculations and returns for UK and Ireland entities.
- Complete annual Group Corporation Tax Packs
- Liaise with Group Tax team on completion of local transfer pricing files
- Liaise with Group Tax team to ensure Cbc and ATAD2 reporting requirements are met locally
- Prepare and provide any required training for Finance and Operations teams in respect of VAT or any other area of Tax.
- Corporation Tax calculations and postings in addition to ensuring payments on account made on time and accurately.
- Support Operations with Plastic Packaging and Waste Packaging internal and external reporting

Management Accounts
- Responsibility for the Ireland Limited accounting, internal BRP / VENA submission and reporting, to include:

- Preparing monthly accounts to enable production of P&L, Balance Sheet, cash flow, sales, margin and overheads analysis.
- Making comparisons of actuals vs budget vs prior year.
- Reconciling and Reviewing Balance Sheet for each period end.
- Prepayments, Stock and Accrual Postings.
- Review sales and margins as well as forward orders.
- Reviewing company's overheads.
- Supporting external year-end audit for UK and Ireland entities.
- Supporting production of UK and Ireland Yearend Statutory accounts.
- Production of annual Sales & Margin and OPEX budget for Ireland
- Reporting of Ireland budget and forecast files to include Divisional P&L, Balance Sheet, OPEX, CAPEX, Working Capital and Headcount.
- Responsibility for Group Intercompany reconciliation with UK and Ireland entities
- Group and Local Intercompany Recharge Postings
- Responsibility for Fixed Assets Reconciliation (Monthly postings, additions, disposals, depreciation journals)
- Ad-hoc financial reports and analysis requested by senior staff.

**Profile**
- Proven work experience within a similar role.
- VAT and Corporation Tax experience is highly desirable
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics an advantage although not a requirement.
- Understanding of accounting principles - Numeracy - Review and writing skills
- Organised and methodical - Detail oriented
- Ability to work alone or as part of team - Multitasking and prioritising workloads
- Commitment and self-motivation - Building trust and strong relationship at all levels
- Professionalism and strong work ethics Ability to self-review.

**Job Offer**

Tax & Management Accountant
- £42,000 - £50,000
- Hybrid working flexibility to work 3 Days in Office and 2 Days working from home
- Discretionary Bonus of 10%
- Parking
- Pension 6% (providing employee contributes 3%)
- BUPA health scheme (i.e. Can claim dental, optician expenses + other services)
- 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
- All employees covered by Death in Service and Critical Illness policies
- Hours 35 per week, i.e. 9-5, with flexibility on start time.
