Within this role, you’ll be responsible for leading strategic development, increasing engagement in arts and culture, ensuring equality of access and promoting career pathways in the creative industries.

You’ll lead teams who manage operations at the Villa Marina and Gaiety Theatre Complex and Kensington Arts. You’ll also manage the tenancies of the units within the Villa Marina Arcade, oversee the management of the bowling green within the Villa Marina complex and the Camera Obscura, ensuring the heritage of the venues within the Culture Division are preserved and protected.

You’ll be part of the Senior Leadership Team for the Department of Education, Sport and Culture providing a link between the Department and the Division, contributing to Department strategy and policy, ensuring the Culture Division meets Departmental objectives.

We are looking for a credible leader with a track record of building excellent and effective working relationships, to become an integral and valued member of our supportive and hardworking team.

Previous experience within a middle/senior leadership role and delivering services through effective partnerships is essential.
