An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Ocean Import Clerk to join a fantastic company in their friendly and supportive team based in Chandlers Ford.

As an Ocean Import Clerk, you will be required to carry out various duties which include:

- To arrange ocean import shipments from point of origin to door
- To contact overseas agents, co-loaders, and shipping lines
- Requesting releases from co-loaders and shipping lines
- Booking deliveries with shipping line and merchant haulage companies.

You will also require the following experience for the Ocean Import Clerk position:

- Providing quotations to existing customers
- Ensure invoicing is prompt and up to date
- Knowledge of Destin8 and CNS
- Working knowledge of Cargowise including custom entry side would be an advantage, although training can be given
- Good organisation skills
- Working independently and as part of a team
