Fitness Instructor/receptionist

Halo Gym is a successful independent gym based in central Tunbridge Wells, Kent. We are seeking a highly motivated individual for the role of Gym Instructor/Receptionist.

This vacancy is for a permanent part-time role of 30 hours per week, with the opportunity to increase to full-time (37.5 hours). Salary dependent on age and experience.

The successful applicant will be Level 2 fitness instructor qualified. Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification advantageous but not essential.

We are looking for someone who portrays a positive, can-do attitude and excellent interpersonal skills, with drive to succeed in the fitness industry.

Previous experience working in a gym environment would be preferable, but again not essential.

**Key responsibilities include but not limited to**:

- to be customer service focused and deliver an excellent service to all customers
- to ensure the gym and reception area is kept clean and tidy at all times
- to be responsible for opening/closing of the gym, when required
- to drive Sales of memberships and products such as supplements
- To ensure that administration is dealt with in a timely manner
- to respond to customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- teaching classes (circuits, HIIT, spin etc)
- carry out gym inductions for new joiners
