**Partner and Governance Lead - Warwick - 18 month fixed term contract**

The Commercial Operations Team is responsible for ensuring effective day-to-day commercial running of National Grid Ventures’ (NGV) portfolio of operational interconnectors and integrating construction projects into operations post-commissioning. The Team leads on the relationship with our Partners (RTE, Statnett) and the GB System Operator, ensures the day-to-day operation is compliant with relevant legislation and manages the contracts that underpin the Interconnectors’ commercial operations.

In this role you will be responsible for the management of all Partner-related and internal governance. This is an 18 month fixed term contract for a maternity cover.

**What you'll be getting up to**:

- Identifying all key areas of compliance based obligations, covering contractual, licence and internal drivers.
- Establishing and embedding a means of monitoring and reporting on all obligations
- Coordinating with obligation owners to drive best practice and improvements in the way we do business whilst maintaining compliance.
- Developing an overarching governance framework for the CCR department
- Developing strong relationships with our partner organisations and driving our business interests.
- Owning governance documents and Terms of References, ensuring they are kept current
- Acting as Technical Secretary for key meetings, coordinating material, defining agendas, taking minutes.
- Owning key reporting metrics, compiling updates to the team dashboard in collaboration with area leads
- Communication of meeting out-briefs to stakeholders
- Management of key documents, including change and access controls
- Managing updates and information dissemination relating to key contractual documents

**About You**:

- Able to work well in a team environment
- Time management skills are critical to deal with concurrent deliverables
- Strong communication skills with ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders
- The ability to grasp complex issues and their interactions with National Grid and the wider industry
- Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential
