**IT Technician Apprentice**
Location: Dudley, West Midlands
Contract: Fixed-term (Duration: 2-3 years)
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Pay rate: £10.47 per hour

The Black Country Living Museum is seeking a tech-savvy individual interested in IT to join the team, whilst also working towards a relevant qualification. As an IT Apprentice, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside our established IT team, where you'll focus on technical IT and AV across the Museum. Sound interesting? Keep on reading.

**What will you be doing?**

Providing first-line in-person and remote support to staff.
Supporting the administration of all IT across the site. This includes network/Wi-Fi, Windows desktops/servers, cloud/Office 365 systems, phone PBC systems, databases, EPOS/till systems & CCTV.
Assisting with the physical installation of IT equipment and infrastructure, as well as maintaining fixed AC equipment around the site, such as conferencing equipment, museum exhibitions, and exhibits.
Supporting the varied audio-visual temporary projects that come with an innovative and expanding museum.
Learning how to support more unusual and specialist technologies such as scent dispensers, show controllers, and lighting.

**What are we looking for?**

An A-Level (or equivalent) qualification in IT.
Relevant work experience.
Evidence of a genuine interest in IT/AV.
A willingness to learn and develop both new and existing skills.
Flexible approach to work.
Comfortable adapting to new challenges.
