**The Role & Responsibilities**

We are seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager to provide support to a Relationship Manager and team manager for Direct lending.

You will:

- Ensure loan set up is in accordance with documentation
- Assist with the drawdown of new lending opportunities
- Manage and handle customer queries
- Participate in customer meetings both in house and off site
- Keep accurate records of customer instructions and meetings
- Support the Relationship Manager in preparing customer credit reports for presentation to credit functions
- Assist in the Direct Lending Team in ad hoc projects

Interfaces:

- Customers
- Broker partners
- Commercial Property division management / credit functions
- Pre and post completions team
- Company legal function
- External advisors / business introducers

**The Person**
- Able to demonstrate previous client facing experience within a financial service environment
- A financial services qualification will be a distinct advantage
- A knowledge of the residential / commercial property market would be advantageous
- Able to demonstrate a good knowledge of MS Office suite - Excel, Word, Power-Point
- Able to commute to the Brentwood office 2 days/week
