Practitioner Playworker

The job role of Practitioner Playworker is to assist the staff team in the delivery of high quality, stimulating play opportunities for primary aged children, in a safe and caring out-of-school environment.
A relevant childcare qualification for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) as Practitioner Playworker is desirable for this post, as is previous experience of working with primary aged children, ideally in an out of school setting.
Practitioner childcare workers must be registered with the either GTC (General Teaching Council) or SSSC. You must also register with the PVG (Protection of Vulnerable Groups) Scheme or undergo a PVG update prior to commencing employment with Skool Is Out Ltd. The cost of registration with the SSSC and the PVG Scheme will be met by the applicant.
Please note, all offers of employment are contingent upon receipt of two employment references and successful registration with the PVG scheme.
We currently have vacancies for permanent and/or flexible positions, as well as whole-year or term-time only working.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 8-24 per week
**Salary**: £10.50-£11.25 per hour
