As a Self-Employed Protection Adviser at Astute Mortgages, you can expect to:

- Work at a flexible pace that suits you
- Be able to prepare for future appointments and generate your own customers and businesses
- Provide full advice and recommendations on Protection business, such as Life, Critical Illness, Family Income Benefit, and Income protection cover.
- Treat your clients with the highest regards ensuring that they receive the correct and compliant advice whilst making sure that they fully understand the products and services that are available to them

Please note that as a self-employed individual, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of your business, including acquiring clients/customers, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will have the freedom to work on your own terms but will also bear the risks and responsibilities associated with running a business.

This position does not provide any specific benefits or fixed salary as it is dependent on the success of your own business. However, being self-employed offers the potential for unlimited income potential and the flexibility to create a work-life balance that suits you.

Qualifying Criteria:

- Experience in the protection industry: Life Insurance, Critical Illness, family income benefit and Income Protection.
- Have a consistent track record of achieving your goals within your current role - Be proactive and self-motivated
- A passion for achieving a fantastic customer experience.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to market and developer needs
- Proven use of mortgage-specific software
- Full driving licence
- You are legally entitled to live and work in the UK in accordance to the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. (Please Note: you will need to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK via proof of address, identity and NI prior to a formal offer of employment).

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£100,000.00 per year
