Cash Handler

**Temporary, full-time job from May to September, (Students very welcome).**

**Duties**:
Due to the nature of your role**, you will be working in a secure unit**. We are looking for someone who is numerically minded and flexible. The nature of the role is that you are dealing with **Foreign and British currency**. **Hours 37.5 per week, working between 7 am to 7 pm Monday to Friday. (8-hour shifts, usually 9 am to 5.30 pm with 30 minutes lunch)**

There are 6/8 sections that you will work on, over two floors. The working **environment is secure**, **and with 3 secure safes/volts**, you will have to enter via a steel door to the 1st Floor and another to enter the ground floor. You will be required to be physically fit and be able to **lift 20kg bags**.

**You will be required to undergo a criminal record check and a 5-year work/education reference check.**

Key Responsibilities:

- Accurately count and verify cash and coin denominations.
- Maintain strict adherence to company cash handling policies and procedures.
- Detect and report counterfeit currency or discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth flow of cash operations.
- Uphold confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.

**Salary**: £12.05 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
