The Best Connection Group are currently seeking a Trainee Shipping and Logistics Clerk to join our client based in Haywards Heath
- **Salary: £23,000 - £26,500 per annum**:

- **Location: Haywards Heath**:

- ** Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00-18:00, 1 Hour Lunch Break**:

- ** Workplace based in Haywards Heath. Due to workplace location, it is essential to be a driver and have your own transport.**

**Logistics duties of the position include**:

- Ensure successful delivery of shipped parcels
- Engage directly with clients and suppliers to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
- Regularly review working processes with carriers and transport companies to ensure best practices and competitive pricing.
- Manage documentation related to product distribution, ensuring accurate system maintenance and information storage.
- Communicate effectively with customers and suppliers to uphold efficient distribution and storage processes.
- Assist with warehouse tasks, including lifting when required.

**Key skills and competencies required**:

- Very good written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience is not required but desirable as full training will be provided
- Possess good computer skills with basic knowledge of Microsoft systems; Excel, Word, etc.
- Enjoy working as part of a team

**Licence/Certification**:

- Driving Licence (required)
