Yard Operative
Pertemps Reading are currently for Yard Operatives to join a busy builder merchant, based in Newbury
You will need a valid Forklift Counterbalance Certificate, to be considered for the role
As an Yard Operative you will be responsible for:

- Picking customer orders
- Moving heavy products around the yard / warehouse
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Ensuring paperwork is correct prior to despatch
- Complete daily FLT Safety Checks
- Ensuring all stock is stored, handled and loaded safely and securely
- Previous experience in the builder merchant sector
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Effective communication skills
Previous experience using a side loader forklift will be advantageous
Weekly rota: Monday to Friday:
06:00 - 16:00 Shift 1
08:00 - 18:00 Shift 2
