Day to day generalist HR role providing support to managers and other senior stakeholders in the business to provide an effective, professional HR service.

Lead on specific areas of HR affecting the whole Council (including Schools) such as Operations, Job Evaluation, Policy Development, Staff Benefits.

Work closely with the Head of HR and HR Operations Manager and undertake HR projects and initiatives in support of key objectives and business plans in order to drive the Corporate mission.

Work with the OD team to contribute to the Healthy Organisation Strategy and the work programme.

To support key stakeholders to understand and implement H.R and employment policies / practice to assist in the promotion and delivery of effective customer driven services.

To manage and co-ordinate the Council’s Job Evaluation process.

Lead on the Council’s Staff Rewards Scheme.
