Bede Burn Kindergarten has an opportunity for a Nursery Cook to join our team.

We are looking for an experienced cook to prepare and cook meals in its on-site kitchen which, we are very proud to say, has recently received another Food Hygiene rating of 5 stars.

You would be part of a warm and welcoming team and see the benefits of your work in the faces of all of our amazing children.

The ideal applicant will:

- Have experience planning and ordering ingredients, working to a set menu
- Preparing and cooking heathy meals, working to strict food hygiene systems
- Stock control
- Have experience working around allergies and intolerances
- Ensure a safe and clean kitchen is maintained

Online training will be provided to refresh your knowledge of food safety, hygiene, allergies, and other key areas.

References will be required.

*Part time - 20 hours per week*

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From £10.42 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Work Location: In person
