Groundsperson/labourer

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Groundsperson/Labourer to join our team on our Holiday and Residential Park. As a groundsperson you will be responsible in helping us maintain the appearance of our large outdoor space. This is a hands on role that requires some knowledge of the use of push mowers, sit on mowers, hedge trimmers and hand tools. However training will be given. You will also have Health and Safety training and some uniform is provided along with all PPE. On occasions there will be an opportunity to help the contruction team on the hard landscaping side of the business. Further information on this will be discussed in the interview process.

There are 24 days paid holiday plus 8 Bank holidays.

Responsibilites:

- Perform regular maintenance tasks to keep the grounds clean and tidy.
- Mowing, strimming and hedge cutting.
- Report to your line manager any issues on the park or with any equipment.
- Operate tools and machinery safely.
- Sweep and clean roads and kerb edges on the park, including weeding removal of leaves and other debris where needed.
- Use our OMS system to do daily vehicle and Machinery checks - training on the system will be given.
- Work outdoors in all weathers.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in groundswork or labouring would be beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such us lifting,bending, kneeling or standing for long periods of time.
- Attention to detail and be able to use your initiative and follow instructions.
- Time management to enable you to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Any labouring skills would be an advantage.

**Salary**: £10.42-£10.44 per hour
