CK Clinical are recruiting for a Medical Educator/ Cardiovascular Advisor to join an outstanding pharmaceutical company initially on a contract basis for a period of 12 months.

Location: Dublin (Field-based and remote working).

Part-time (around 3 days a week).

Rate: €300- €400 per day PAYE

Cardio-Renal-Metabolic Medical Educator (CRM ME) primary responsibilities are to work in collaboration with healthcare stakeholders to co-create and deliver high quality structured medical education and training activities to multidisciplinary multispecialty teams managing patients with complex morbidities associated with CRM conditions, particularly Heart Failure. The role is focused upon training and educating healthcare professionals to facilitate improved understanding of key clinical elements associated with the management of CRM conditions to improve patient care.

CRM ME’s will possess specialist practitioner skills, complementing these with extensive therapy area knowledge within Cardio Renal Metabolic medicine to bring credible and informative education activities to groups ofhealthcare professionals.

- Qualified specialist nurse or registered pharmacist with significant clinical experience in cardio, renal & metabolic disease management in the NHS or Irish Healthcare System o Possess relevant experience withinthe Irish Healthcare System or pharmaceutical industry commensurate with the role of an expert medical educator. o Identify customer needs requiring disease and therapy area related educational support and ensure that Irish healthcare providers haveinformation relevant to their needs. o To operate compliantly with all relevant policies, operating procedures, laws and regulations pertaining to activities in the UK & Ireland, and consistent with the IPHA code, and ABPI Code of Practice where applicable. o Experience in confidently and clearly communicating medical and scientific information to support knowledge translation to healthcare professionals, and subsequently informing and improving clinical practice. o Ability to understand andmap medical educational needs of clinical leads responsible for local care pathway implementation, and adapting medical educational content according to such needs.
