User Acceptance Tester

Main Responsibilities
As a User Acceptance Tester your top 5 responsibilities will be:

- To interact and communicate with project management, test, and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the changes and testing objectives.
- To conduct user acceptance testing on behalf of Saga Group on all current and prospective Saga Group user systems to the required standard.
- To design and create test plans, scripts, and datasets to meet business requirements.
- To complete documentation that can be easily followed.
- Identify, record, thoroughly document tracking of defects.
- Experience of frontend/backend/database testing.
- Experience in cross browser and mobile testing.
- Knowledge of JIRA, SQL, API testing and Postman would be beneficial.
- Ability to investigate and fix causes of script failure.
- Driven by quality.
- Demonstrates that the customer is central to test scenarios and suggest improvements around this.
- Ability to work to demanding schedules and deadlines.
- Ability to learn new systems and processes.
- A technical background or experience of scripting skills/test automation tools would be an advantage but not essential.
- Knowledge of version control would be an advantage but not essential.
- Ability to investigate defects to provide further detail to developers.
- A technical background or experience of scripting skills/test automation tools such as Katalon would be an advantage but not essential.
- Familiar with Agile & Waterfall methodology
