Due to internal progression, we are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative to work to take the next step in the career at our Silvertrees site, Aberdeen. This role is a full-time, permanent contract Monday - Friday. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to continue their career with a Company who puts their staff first.

**Responsibilities**:
Our training programme aims to build upon the skills of our skilled Warehouse Operatives, these responsibilities are as follows:

- Assisting with the management of routine inventory check
- Participating in the Daily Inventory Cycle Counts
- Ensure the efficient loading and unloading of deliveries and orders
- Picking goods (as per Warehouse Procedure)
- Pack and Dispatch orders and goods (as per Warehouse Procedure)
- Provide all customers with an exceptional level of service
- Positive work ethic, attitude and a strong focus on providing excellent customer service
- Ensuring the safe storage of goods & products within the warehouse environment and highlighting areas of improvement
- Warehouse Housekeeping, ensuring all inside and outside areas are clean and tidy and free from hazards at all times.
- Ensuring attention to detail and good standard of numeracy are demonstrated at all times to minimise discrepancies
- Tracking shipments as required
- Building relationships with logistics providers
- Thorough understanding of relevant Swagelok Corporate and Swagelok Scotland, Ireland & Teesside Policies
- Create collaboration with other teams to ensure all customer needs are met
- Aim to deliver business objectives and departmental goals
- Demonstrate and nurture a keen sense of team spirit
- Assist in the efficient utilisation of the warehouse and yard areas
- Maintain Health and Safety and Fire regulations

**Essential Qualifications/Experience**:

- National 4 maths or equivalent
- National 5 English or equivalent
- Proficient in IT and systems
