Labour Hire is looking for a PARTS CHECKER for a well-established company in GREENFIELD near OLDHAM.

**_This is a permanent position with NO agency probation period_**

**Position objective**:
The Kitting Technician will gather and stage all components required for upcoming production orders and ensure all parts are accounted for before shipping.

- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Good attendance and timekeeping.
- Ability to lift heavy-duty profiles.
- Be methodical and ensure a full quality check is completed on every structure.
- Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Have good communication skills, this role requires communication with the Powder Coating and Packing teams.
- Knowing powder coating would be beneficial, but not essential.
- Be proactive in recommending areas for improvement.
- Full training will be provided; however, this may have to be completed on a shift pattern that differs from your own.

**About the role**:

- 2 shift patterns available:

- Monday -Thursday 13:45 pm - 10:00 pm, Friday 12:30 pm
- 7:30 pm or
- Monday
- Thursday 21:45 pm - 06:00 am, Friday 7:15 pm-02:15 am.
- Rate: £12.10-£13.20 per hour, depending on a shift pattern
- Ensure all parts are fully inspected for accuracy, size, colour, and quality before they are kitted up into the associated bundle and labelled.
- Be customer focused, and report all quality issues to Supervision.
- To adhere to Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- To ensure a clean and tidy working environment at all times.
- Be flexible as this role will require you to support the packing team from time to time.
