If you are a qualified, experienced primary school teacher looking for part time tutoring opportunities, come and work at our friendly, local tutorial centre one to two evenings per week (or Saturday mornings). Ideally you will be confident working with pupils between Year 2 and Year 6 in Maths and English. The ability to teach KS3 in either English or Maths would be an advantage as would willingness to prepare pupils for the Kent & Shepway Tests.

Kip McGrath Folkestone & Hythe was set up by husband and wife team Jon and Tamara Baldwin. The Centre has been open 7 years and currently employs five tutors. We are looking to expand our capacity to offer tuition to an even greater number of primary level pupils.

Tutors work with between 2 and 4 pupils per session. There are two sessions of 80 minutes per evening/Saturday morning. Pay is on a sliding scale £25.50-£42 per session (£51-£84 per evening) dependent on the number of pupils tutored. Full, paid training on Kip McGrath computer systems and curriculum resources will be provided.

Must have:
QTS status

At least five year’s teaching experience

Current knowledge of the Primary syllabus

Home computer access (4GB RAM minimum)

Helpful to be able to:
Teach maths and/or English to KS3 level

Experience of Kent Test preparation

**Salary**: £1,000.00 to £3,200.00 / year
