**Nursery Practitioner (Level 3)**

**Salary: Depending on experience.**

**Hours Per Week: 40 hours (8 hour days)**

**About the Nursery**:
The nursery offers a spacious and homely environment with different rooms within each unit designed to allow children to learn through exploration and discovery. To encourage a curious approach to the world, they have created a curiosity room. The room is resourced with natural objects rather than toys to give children the opportunity to create their own purposes for objects.

The larger outdoor garden area with separate areas for each age group allows every child the opportunity to play safely.

The nursery are seeking for a level 3 qualified to join the team and be a part of the homely environment watching and helping children thrive and flourish within development.

**The role of a **Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) **within the Nursery involves**:

- Supporting the Room Leader in the day to day running of the designated room and nursery
- Acting as a Key person to a number of children
- Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of resources and equipment in the indoor and outdoor areas
- Completing observations and ensuring that these are recorded accordingly
- Planning and delivering activities that in line with the EYFS curriculum
- Building strong relationships with parents and keeping a strong line of communication with them
- Adhering to internal and external policies and regulations
- Reporting and recording all incidents, as well as promoting a culture of safeguarding

**To be considered for the role of **Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) **you will have**:

- A minimum of a Level 3 Childcare related qualification.
- GCSE or equivalent English and Mathematics Grade C or above (if Childcare Qualification achieved after September 2014).
- A strong knowledge of EYFS frameworks and safeguarding
