**Activities of the team/department that this role will operate in;**

**This Supervisor will be responsible for the provision and planning for adequate haulage levels, optimising the revenue of delivery performance and minimising costs. The person will ensure monthly, weekly and daily plans and rosters are maintained. They will have an active role to manage the haulage fleet of Eurovia being the hub of communications as well as ensuring weighbridge holiday/sickness cover.**

**Purpose of the role and your responsibilities;**

**The Transport Supervisor will provide strong direction to the Roadstone weighbridge and operational teams, ensuring a clear, shared sense of purpose as per their plans. Ensuring that the company continues to perform well, through your hands-on leadership approach, your specific goals will be**:

- **Delivery a profitable delivery performance of the Transport fleet across Dagenham, Ipswich and NKR**:

- **Ensure adequate weighbridge cover and be the principal person to back fill for holidays and breaks. As such this person needs to be mobile and willing to travel or re-organise the team to provide cover.**:

- **Deliver accurate, clear plans and rosters for Driver schedules**:

- **Effective communication with Customers, Hauliers and Internal teams**:

- **Be responsible for all day to day transport logistics, providing information and assistance to Management and Operational staff.**:

- **Implement and support the Group Management Rules**:

- **Ensure all transport administration is accurately completed and both the revenues and costs are managed.**:

- **Accountable for the Haulage and services account performance**:

- **Liaisons with hauliers to rectify any issues**

**Formal qualifications required;**

**This position would suit a person who has developed from experience of weighbridge operations and has shown that they can deal with the pace of the position and be organised to maintain a clear direction**
