We work in small teams to provide continuity and great team spirit, you will have access to the latest training and development opportunities, you will play a vital part in the care that is offered and delivered to individuals and be included in the decisions of which services we offer.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide support and encouragement to our members to lead as independent lifestyle as possible,
- Assist with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, hygiene routines, cleaning of the home environment, cooking, companionship and social interaction.
- Assist with medication as required.
- Provide emotional and physical support to our members,
- Document and provide feedback on each individuals care.
- Communicate effectively with other staff members, service users, their family, medical professional and any other individual that plays a part in the service users life.
- Complete tasks assigned by management and assist other staff members as needed.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for our members.

**Required Experience**:

- Experience working with the elderly and vulnerable is desired but full and ongoing training is available,
- NVQ level 2 in health and social care advantageous.
- The Care Certificate, or willing to work towards.

**As standard you will be paid mileage and full travel time between calls, extra hours available if required.**
