**Job Description**:

- De Beers is focused delivering compelling and engaging user journeys and experiences across our digital channels that tell our brand story, elevate our iconic products, unlock discovery, and drive conversion.

Reporting into the Senior Manager, Client Experience this role leads UX & UI design across our DTC portfolio focusing on new site features, roll outs and managing our design/component libraries. The UX Designer will work within the Digital CX and Content team to bring our brand, product, and client experience to live through a mobile first, luxury design aesthetic. Experience of working in the luxury landscape is essential for this role.

This role will work across our CRO roadmap, identifying areas of optimisation based on data and insights and delivering prototyping, user testing and implementation and work seamlessly across internal and external development and CMS teams to bring new UX & UI to life.
- Lead monthly site refreshes from a design/UX perspective working with the Content, Commercial and Product Leads to produce designs, validate, and over-see UX site updates working closely with external development team to ensure clear requirements, development, QA and UAT are achieved to deliver UX/UI design updates.
- Be a core member in external development stand-up’s and be able to holistically manage UX/UX timelines and deliverables within development sprint timelines. Demonstrate the ability to prototype, validate and refine UX/UI output based on development and business requirements.
- Manage, champion & evolve UX design across new functionality and features, be able to scope and capture UX requirements effectively, aligning stakeholders and identify both design and technical considerations to deliver solutions that are UX centric and platform/CMS relevant.
- Lead the Conversion Rate Optimization Programme, delivering design solutions and ideation to inform the CRO team’s approach & testing. Be a pro-active and data led to inform testing and optimization working with the Global Insight’s team.
- Spearhead a mobile first approach, challenging the boundaries of both platform & design to continually evolve and optimize our DTC UX.
- Map & define processes from design to implementation working with in-house and external agencies, to ensure a seamless design, approval and implementation process is adhered to.
- Responsible for updating/managing Figma and our design component library to ensure all facets and iterations of design are kept up-to-date.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience within digital and preferably ecommerce background in the luxury digital space.
- Experience in UX best-practice and delivering multiple user journeys across the purchase funnel.
- Is a lateral thinker, ability to juggle commercial and creative priorities and identify common themes/opportunities.
- Highly strategic, able to identify key issues relevant to achieving long-range goals or visions through applied design thinking and commercial expertise.
- UX design (tools, processes, prototypes, wireframing testing and implementation) essential, mastery of Figma/Sketch or equivalent.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and cross-functional stakeholders throughout the design process; creating user flows and wireframes to build user interface mockups and prototypes
- Proficiency in prototyping with tools such as InVision and Figma
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience working with research, testing and data/KPI to drive decision making
- Ability to strategically present UX work holistically
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals
- Take risks and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Be a clear, concise, creative and persuasive communicator (in writing and in person) across both internal and external stakeholders
- Work self-sufficiently with great attention to detail, ability to work in a team environment and deal with multiple stakeholder across the business to ensure all teams are pulling together to achieve common goals and success measures.
