Rsm - Instruments for Lab/dental & Medical

**The company**: My client are an Italian company, offering award winning design and technology driven kitchen and commercial appliances, which stand out from the crowd. This role is on their Medical/Lab & Dental division. **The position**: Due to the recent growth in business, in their Professional Channel they have an exciting new role for a Regional Sales Manager (National - Instruments) reporting to the Commercial Channel Director.

Basic salary: £37,500 - £42,000

Bonus: £12,000 - £16,000

Area working: UK - Based from home but need to be commutable to the Oxford office as regular contact required

Products: Washer disinfectors, professional refrigeration, ultrasonic cleaners and sealing devices

**Your experience**:
You should have relevant business experience in the Medical, Dental or Laboratory markets - ideally of Washer Disinfectors/Refrigeration, however other capital equipment sales experience in to the will also be considered. Any experience of developing a business from a zero or low base and setting up business plans would be a distinct advantage.

**The role**:
Selling to Hospitals, Dental, Laboratory, Veterinary Practices and Pharmaceutical Companies to highlight specific new business opportunities and manage existing accounts on a national level. Preparing annual business development plans to target new customers and increased distribution of products in the UK.

Responsible for:

- Prospect, qualify, close and process Professional Channel business within the UK market, for the Instrument sector.
- To constantly monitor progress against monthly/phase/annual sales target, so as to be aware of progress against objectives.
- To maintain regular personal contact with all designated customers, identifying customer needs and ensuring comprehensive servicing of accounts.
- To continually strive to maximise every opportunity for achieving increased sales and distribution with designated customers.
- To work towards specific targets, sterling/product/product group.
- To maintain relationships with all customers in such a way as to enhance the brand and the company’s status and position.
- Analyse market conditions by collecting and sharing information regarding competitor or market activity to relevant stake holders, to assist in maintaining a high level of competitor/market intelligence.
- Preparation and presentation of product training sessions as required.
- To adhere to systems and processes of administration to agreed time scales.
- Attending events, conferences and seminars as required by your customer(s) and or manager.
- To maintain a professional image conductive to the culture and ethos of the brand.
- To undertake any other reasonable duties within your range of experience and competencies.
