Our client is a global MedTech company passionate on empowering the world to control disease and reduce suffering. They solve real world diagnostic problems and move from R&D stage to commercialization.

The Project Engineer will be responsible to deal with the Project Management of Engineering & Software related projects and support other Research & Development teams throughout the company, in a variety of tasks. Software and engineering skills with theability for hands on problem solving and delivery on product and process improvement. Managing and supporting engineering projects on time and on budget, including working with the team to establish new processing/manufacturing lines.

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring assigned technical and engineering projects
- Translating project needs and organising practical terms into required timelines to be met by the team
- Resolving any problems with the team, plans and budget to ensure that the project flows smoothly
- Identifying potential problems with the project, leading the team into developing solutions and ensuring that they are implemented
- Working with third-party contractors to develop viable time scales and working practices
- Liaise daily with mechanical, electronics and software engineers in house and ensure excellent communication between teams and management
- To work with all stakeholders and members of the team to aid the delivery of projects to time and within budget
- To maintain Gantt Charts and projects plans, tracking deliverables and budgets
- To track existing grants and internal projects
- To take responsibility for delivering feasibility and development projects on time and in budget
- To maintain extensive project plans with various external suppliers effectively and highlight any deviations in timing or budget
- To maintain the tracking of deliverables and budgets both to customers and from suppliers
- Any other duties as reasonably requested from time to time
- Work within the Company's Quality Systems and Policies in line with ISO13485 standards
- Proven ability in project managing scientific or engineering project
- Effectively interact with other Technical and Development teams

**Requirements**:

- Graduate Qualification ideally in Engineering, science or equivalent
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project or similar
- PM Certification or equivalent (e.g. AGILE, SCRUM, Prince2)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Industrial experience
- Experience of working in a quality led environment, preferably under ISO13485
- Knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Project
- Knowledge of JIRA
