A great opportunity has arisen for a versatile and hardworking Trainee Mechanic to join the MotorSport Vision team at Brands Hatch. This role will involve working within the Engineering department, assisting the team with maintaining our fleet of BMW M4's, single seater race cars, 4x4's and Toyota GT86 as well as a whole host of site maintenance vehicles to ensure we deliver market leading retail and corporate motor racing events.

**Jobs duties will include**:

- Assisting with the conducting of thorough inspections of our high-performance vehicles on the completion of our corporate and retail events
- Work with our Engineering team to determine the source of machinery problems and work to solve issues efficiently
- Work alongside our engineering team to complete large scale rebuilds aswell as working on your own on smaller projects
- Report to the Workshop Supervisor with diagnosis and parts required to rectify
- Assist with diagnostic testing on the mechanical and electrical systems
- Work within the Engineering department to help deliver promoted motorsport events like the British Touring Car Championship and British Superbikes

**You will be / have**:

- A good understanding of mechanical engineering with a recognised qualification i.e. City and Guilds
- Be currently studying have recently finished a Level 3 qualification or above
- Tyre fitting experience
- Full UK driving license
- Pride in your work and want to complete tasks to the best of your ability
- A track record of meeting strict deadlines
