**Summary**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Finance Business Partner wanting to join the growing finance team here at YASA. The Finance Business Partner will work alongside different departments and senior management teams, providing financial information and analysis, helping them make more informed decisions and driving business strategy. You will be taking historical results to draw key assumptions to accurately project future results, what impact that has against various KPIs, and guiding on what action is best taken.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Closing Month-End activities across all of YASA’s customer base.
- Updating company performance data and comparing against predicted budgets.
- Attending meetings regularly with project management teams to determine latest forecasts.
- Owning accountability for Project CAPEX spend & OPEX costs analysis.
- Maintaining in-house ‘Timeman’ system to provide key project data and analysis.
- Supporting the Financial Controller with in-year forecasting, calling out risk and opportunity areas.
- Supporting the Financial Controller with year-end audit requirements and liaising with auditors.
- Liaising with Grant Officers on APC projects.
- Undertaking any other duties that may be considered appropriate.

**To succeed in this role, we believe you'll need**:

- To be a fully Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
- To have demonstrated the ability to turn data into action in a clear and user-friendly manner.
- Flexible in their approach to work, desire to thrive in a dynamic and exciting fast-moving environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to effectively time manage and prioritise a varied workload.
- Experience of the completion of management accounts, balance sheets, and control account reconciliations.
- Experience in the production of timely financial management information, budgetary review, and variance analysis.
- Creative problem solver, with an analytical approach to implementation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the determination to succeed.

**Though not expected, it would be very beneficial if you have**:

- Worked within a manufacturing business.
- Experience working with Microsoft NAV18.
- Experience working with POWER BI.
