Bennett and Game are currently working with one of the UK's leading privately owned logistics companies who are actively seeking an experienced HGV Shunter to join their Leicestershire location.

The client pride themselves in ensuring professional and sustainable solutions are provided to their customers by supplying a variety of supply chain and logistics solutions such as warehousing, self-storage, contract logistics, pallex and specialised fleetservices.

**HGV ShunterPosition Overview**
- Shunt trailers on and off bays
- Shunt trailers around the depot and onto collection bays
- Shunting trailers using a tug or unit
- May be occasionally required to help with loading and unloading
- Work as part of a busy team to ensure that this busy operation runs smoothly
- Class 1 licence required as well as CPC and digi card
- May also have the option to support with logistics runs on class 1 vehicles doing deliveries and collection to customers

**HGV ShunterPosition Requirements**
- Valid HGV Class 1 licence
- Driver CPC
- Previous experience in a Shunter role
- Physically fit and able to manoeuvre materials on and off trailers/HGV's
- Knowledge and experience of working in a busy yard and adhering to H&S
- Experience in Class 1 driving and the flexible approach to assist when needed

**HGV ShunterPosition Remuneration**
- Salary DOE £30-36k
