As Inventory Analyst reporting to the Materials Manager of this highly successful international manufacturer of medical equipment for global markets, you will co-ordinate all activities relating to stock accuracy,
ensuring site production is not stopped as a result of a stock out caused by stock inaccuracy.
Key duties of the Inventory Analyst will include:
**-**Map the current process for site inventory checks.
- Define improved process for site inventory checks, investigations and monitoring.
- Carry out inventory checks in line with frequency standard.
- Record results of inventory as a KPI.
- Dependant on outcome, carry out investigation into stock errors.
- Put in place preventative measures to ensure accuracy is improved.
- Organise and manage the yearly site stock account in conjunction with Production, Materials Management and Finance.
- Establish standard work to align with ERP specialist on BOM accuracy and it’s impact on stock accuracy.
- Own the inventory accuracy improvement program.
Applicants should have solid experience of stock taking and investigation and a good understanding of ERP systems.
Good communication skills, a team player mentality and a flexible approach are essential together with a conscientious an professional approach and a good level of IT literacy in Microsoft Office.
