**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Drama lessons that align with the national curriculum and school policies.
- Evaluate and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed to ensure all students reach their potential.
- Create and direct school productions and performances.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities, such as school drama clubs.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance and achievement.
- Work collaboratively with other members of staff to ensure a consistent approach to teaching and learning.

Legal Requirements:

- A recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or equivalent.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check.
- Experience teaching Drama to secondary school students.
- Good knowledge of the national curriculum for Drama at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Ability to engage and inspire students, fostering a love of learning.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
