**Principal Resident and Engagement Officer**:
Job description

Stroud District Council are seeking a Principal Resident Engagement Officer to join our housing team. This is a vital role that will lead our resident engagement function, work with our communities, partners, and our internal colleagues to deliver a resident engagement and communications strategy that puts our tenants at the heart of the services we deliver. You will play a crucial part in supporting our communities and delivering on our objectives.

Our service is a forward thinking, dedicated and the team you’ll be joining work exceptionally well together, whilst providing a wide range of services within our communities. You will play a significant role and transforming services and finding innovative ways to resolve challenging situations.

**About you**

You’ll have experience of working in a customer focused engagement role. You will be passionate and enthusiastic about delivering exceptional customer service whilst working well under pressure. You’ll have a sound knowledge and experience of:

- Resident engagement and working with communities.
- Managing a high performing team that is performance driven.
- You will be highly motivated and customer solution focused.
- You’ll be able to use your own initiative to solve problems.
