Develop procurement strategies and policies that align with organisational goals and objectives Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities across all procurement activities, in line with objectives and KPIs Negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring that all terms and conditions are favourable to the organisation Manage supplier relationships, including evaluating supplier performance and resolving any issues that arise to the relevant stakeholder Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including maintaining accurate records and ensuring that all procurement processes are transparent Monitor procurement budgets and expenditures, ensuring that all purchases are made within budget constraints. Escalate to relevant stakeholders to resolve issues Collaborate with other departments within the organisation to ensure that procurement activities support their needs and objectives Manage a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and support as needed
